Once again, the magnificent DVMS Band marched and performed in excellence during the Christmas Parade down Florida Avenue on December 6th. Over 80 of our students strapped on their instruments, held the school banner or waved flags to show school pride and holiday spirit.
"Their performance was excellent and I was proud to see our school shine so bright. There is no question that Mrs. Torres has created a model program for our district," said Assistant Principal, Mrs. Sanchez.
The band was the first band and number 13 in the parade of about 100 participating groups to march down Florida Avenue and celebrated with cheers as they finished the 2 mile trek.
The Band and Choir groups will have other holiday performances at DVMS this December.
