Dear Diamondback Families,
I am excited to announce that English Language Arts and Math tutoring will start on Monday, January 12, 2015. Tutoring sessions will start after school at 3:30 PM. English Language Arts tutoring sessions will be held on Mondays and Wednesdays, while Math will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Students will be released at 4:30 PM and should depart the campus or sign back in to the ZONE After School Program. Students are expected to follow all behavior expectations and come to tutoring prepared with class work or areas in which they require assistance. However, if students choose not to take advantage of this opportunity they will be asked to leave.
Also, DVMS will be opening the library at 7:15 AM until 8:15 AM for students to read, work on homework, or ST-Math. All students who arrive at school prior to 8:15 AM will be directed to go to the library rather than wait outside unsupervised. All student expectations will be enforced during this time. Parents will be contacted if students are not following the behavior expectations. The morning “Homework Club” sessions will start on Monday, January 12, 2015.
