Principal's Message
I am honored to serve as the principal of Diamond Valley Middle School. This is my 13th year
serving in education as a teacher and then as an administrator with an additional 5 years
serving schools as a coach.
I was born in Riverside County and grew up in the Hemet and San Jacinto valley my entire
childhood. My parents both attended schools in Hemet, as did various other family members,
with graduates from both Hemet High and West Valley while my sister and I both graduated
from San Jacinto High School. My father served the San Jacinto and Hemet Valley the majority
of his career up until retirement.
I am married and have two boys with my beautiful wife who also graduated from San Jacinto
and is a middle school teacher. Our oldest son will be starting his sophomore year in high school this year while our
youngest son will be celebrating his second birthday in September.
In Serving as a coach, teacher, Assistant Principal, and various other roles in education, my passion has always been to support kids and to see them succeed. I am beyond proud to continue to serve as Principal alongside the professional, supportive, and passionate staff of
Diamond Valley Middle School where we will collectively implement the Mission and Vision of our school and District providing your scholars with a safe, welcoming, engaging and inclusive learning environment.

As a long-time educator and a parent of a student in public education, I know this past year presented us with many challenges in our first year returning to in-person instruction from COVID. However, I am optimistic and hopeful that, collectively, we can make the 22-23 school year the best one yet for our scholars as we work rigorously to prepare them for high school, college, career, and beyond.
