Welcome and thank you for visiting the DVMS homepage!! 

I have been teaching at HUSD since 2005! I have been dedicating all those years (except for one), teaching 6th grade ELA, Social Studies, and ELD . 

I love 6th graders' energy, enthusiasm, and ability to grow as learners, leaders, and members of a team. As always, my goal is that all my students work AND play hard, creating memories as we learn. 

       When I am not at DVMS, I love to spend time with my husband (a 5th grade teacher) and our two children. Together we enjoy exploring new places, bowling, and working out at the gym, whenever possible. Reading is also a passion of mine. 

       I love what I do and have a passion to work with children, promoting confidence, independence, growth, and a successful education.
