Congrats to our volleyball team on winning the league championship! Your hard work, dedication, and teamwork make us very proud!

Congrats to Mrs. Carr and Ms. Herrera for being nominated as DVMS Certificated and Classified Employees of the Year! Mrs. Carr is our 6th grade Math/Science teacher who has created an enriched learning environment for her students. Ms. Herrera is our instructional aid who works tirelessly helping our students in and out of the classroom, as well as volunteering much of her time helping out all staff members.

DVMS will like to honor all of our military for their service to our country. Thank you for your dedication, service, and sacrifice. There will be no school on Monday, November 11 in honor of Veteran's Day.

Parents, please take a moment to download the PBIS Rewards App to your phone so that you can keep track of how your student is behaving in school. Students receive points for following DVMS Be Respectful, Be Responsible, Be Safe expectations and for taking part in school sponsored events. Points may be redeemed every Tuesday and Thursday from 3:32 - 3:42 pm at the PBIS Store.

All community members are welcome to join us this Friday, November 2 for DVMS Movie Night from 6 - 8pm. Admission is free and all concessions are $1. Come on out for a fun night and support the 8th Grade Club.
